A Little Piece About Myself...
I joined Advanced Medical & Dental Institute, Universiti Sains Malaysia as a lecturer and researcher in April 2016. Since then, I have been involving in teaching, learning and research activities on Computer Vision and Image Analysis. My core specialization and passion is on medical image analysis and machine learning. My current research focuses on neurological disorders, cancer and industrial applications. Besides, I also actively reviews journals and conference proceedings. I am a Technical Committee for conferences organised by International Association of Computer Science and Information Technology (IACSIT).
Besides teaching and research, I love experimenting ways of improvising education. I have completed Open Educational Resources Certification (Advanced) by Academy for Higher Education Leadership (AKEPT). My next venture is to develop relevant MOOC courses on subject matters related to computer vision, image analysis, and research methodology.
My relaxation favourites would be reading and travelling. I always believe that a Journey makes a man wiser. Thus, I see travelling as a learning experience and joy.
And books always been my companion. Reading open my mind to imaginations. “Imagination is the highest form of research” by Albert Einstein.
Success is a Journey, not a Destination
